At ECS Tutoring Ltd, we offer personalised, strengths-based tutoring for both home-educated and school-educated learners of all ages. The joy of "Bespoke Tutoring" is that you tell us what is needed and we find a way to make it happen.
We provide a variety of flexible options, including structured group lessons, bespoke one-to-one sessions, dedicated Literacy and Numeracy tuition, supportive homework help sessions and online booster sessions for those who are feeling overwhelmed. Every session is carefully tailored to individual needs, building understanding, confidence and independent learning skills in a way that feels supportive and entirely different from being in a classroom.
With years of experience supporting SEND both in and out of school — planning targeted interventions and collaborating with outside agencies — our work is grounded in a deep understanding of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) and wider SEND.
Our Certified Dyslexia Coach provides Bespoke Tutoring which focuses not only on academic progress, but also on emotional wellbeing, self-belief, building confidence and resilience. We want learners to understand that they are not the problem. If information isn’t being retained, it is the teaching approach that needs to change... and that’s exactly what we do!

We warmly welcome enquiries from parents, carers and SENDCOs seeking structured support for pupils within their settings.
Please note: While support is available from our certified Dyslexia Coach, we are not qualified to diagnose or carry out formal assessments for Dyslexia or any other SpLD or SEND. Formal diagnoses require assessments by an appropriately qualified specialist.
However, we are able to support families in understanding the pathways to assessment, including guidance on next steps and referral routes. We can also provide evidence-based observations and session data to support applications or contribute to the formal assessment process.
We do not support the increasing pressure placed on children and young people around exams. Too often, curiosity, creativity and joy for learning are overshadowed by “teaching the test.” In Year 6 classrooms across the country, afternoons once filled with Music, Art and creative endevours have become extra English and Maths, after a full morning of core subjects and exam preparation.
So why are we offering your child more Maths and English?
Because every learner deserves the freedom to learn in ways that truly work for them. Some children struggle to retain the learning and can totally zone out in "one-size-fits-all" classrooms. We understand that some children need things to be presented and explained in slower, alternative and more visual ways.
Our sessions are designed for children who are feeling overwhelmed, to build confidence, reduce stress and reassure them that they are capable. These low-pressure, trauma-informed sessions focus on presenting key learning objectives in slower, more visual and accessible ways.
We focus on not only supporting learners in the lead-up to exams, but also those who are Electively Home Educated and wanting to access Maths and English presented in different ways. Each week covers a specific topic and children are welcome to join one, some or all of the sessions. Topics will be shared weekly on our “What’s On This Week” page and on social media.
Sessions can be accessed from the comfort of home, on a favourite device, in a relaxed and uplifting environment where learning and wellbeing go hand-in-hand.
If you are interested in any of our services we would love to hear from you. As spaces are limited and groups are carefully matched to ensure the best possible environment, you can enquire in two ways.
You are welcome to visit our Contact page to choose your preferred method of contacting us to discuss things further. This allows you to choose a time that works for you to discuss your child’s needs, ask questions, and explore the most suitable options available.
Alternatively, if you are wanting to book spaces in some of our group sessions, this can be done via our Calendly booking system.
We look forward to connecting with you and finding the right support for your child
